For the past two days, my Copilot is stuck on the screen below:

I have a GitHub Copilot Individual license and have been able to login before. I am using VSCode. When I click the button, it just takes me to a prompt in the browser to open VSCode and then just stays on the same view in the above picture.

In the logs it shows successful authentication:

The extension shows that I am logged in:

But, I am unable to use any chat features. I do see that the in line ghost text works when writing code.

I am using Windows and have the latest version of VSCode:

Steps I have taken to solve/debug:

• Uninstalled and re-installed the extension
• Made sure VSCode is up to date
• Restarted my computer

I have rolled back the extension version:

to 0.17.0:

this seems to be working now
