The code button downloads the repository as a zip, so I'm not sure what you mean by it containing "all the original files" - that would just mean all those files are in the repository. Releases are shown on the main page, on the sidebar: You should also link to the latest release in the README if user confusion is a problem/concern you are running into. |

Body
Maybe I'm missing something. I've created a repository, and so far have three subsequent releases. However the original code is still shown on the main repository page, and the zip file under the code button still includes all the original files. I have to go into great detail every time I want someone to get the latest release; do not download from the main page. Do not download the usual zip file. Go to releases. Find the latest release. Download all files one at a time. Do not download the zip files at the end, they are the old code.
Seriously, am I missing something? Is there some way to update the main page with the latest release? If I just download it, all the original would be gone. Why does the system not show the latest release on the main repository page, and relegate the original release to some old release page? Or am I seriously expected to do all this by hand every time?
