I recently encountered a strange behavior of the inline suggestion. Suddenly inline suggestion stopped working for R Scripts. I noticed a warning in the Copilot Output

[warning] [relatedFiles] unknown language r

For other languages like Python, it seems to be working correctly. I am using the GitHub Copilor extension v1.234.0 in VS Code v1.93.1.

My github copilot stopped working today with latest versions. I noticed this same error "unknown language python". Restarting the machine, vscode, clearing cache and reloading window don't work. This error has never been seen on all of google, duckduckgo, or brave.

for me, it also stop code completion after few minutes of use. keep showing loading indicator then stop. i have to restart the vscode for work again. really annoying.

This networking related issue looks like the sort of thing where we may need to collect more logs.
Please file a bug using the Report a Problem feature in the top right of VS code.
