CODESPACE Export Changes to a Branch Function not performing

Hello there,
After working for about 120 hours on a codespace, my program files have all been removed, i tried using the "Export unpushed Changes to a separate branch" feature and in short it just didnt work.
I tried for about 6 hours atleast and it kept giving the same error message.
What do i do, if i want to gain access to my code as soon as possible within a day, re-writing it is definitely out of the window. Is there any workaround to get access to my codespace data?
