Github current streak stats has been resetted falsely

Hello.

I’d like to report a bug with GitHub’s contribution tracking system, which has unexpectedly reset my current streak record to 0.
I've already sent a ticket to GitHub Support Team and waiting for their response.

On October 28th, I made a commit and pushed it successfully. However, when I checked my profile on October 29th, I noticed the tile for October 28th was still gray, indicating no contributions. When I attempted to push the commit again, I received this message in my terminal:

Total 0 (delta 0), reused 0 (delta 0), pack-reused 0

This message confirmed my repository was already up to date, and I hadn't missed any contributions. After refreshing my profile, I found that October 28th's tile turned green, correctly reflecting the activity. However, my contribution streak counter still shows 0 for my current streak and 129 for the longest streak, which should instead show 131 days in a row based on the green tiles.

This issue appears to have been caused by a glitch, as I committed and pushed without any error on my end.

I'll appreciate any help or assistance on this.
I just don't want to waste any time if it needs an immediate action so I tried to send a ticket and open a discussion both to see which one can solve the problem for me faster.

Hi @MatinT-SA ,

I took a look at your profile and your contributions from October 28 are displayed correctly, also your current streak is now 131.

The above card is from github-readme-streak-stats, which retrieves the profile data from the GitHub API and sometimes there can be inconsistency with the data because it can take a few hours to update, now as you can see it's fixed.

Probably, it's an inconsistency as you pointed it out and I need to wait.

You're welcome @MatinT-SA , inconsistencies may also depend on the geographical area of the server, which would also explain why I can see the updated data while you still can't, so don't worry in a few hours you'll be able to see it as well.
