I need to clone this project for school but I keep getting the error "permission denied".

I've cloned all my other projects in the past and it just started not working. My pycharm is up to date and everything. How do I fix this?

You probably don't have sufficient permission of that directory where you are trying to clone.

Try:
sudo chmod -R 755 <directory-path>
OR
sudo chmod -R $USER <directory-path>
