Why wouldn't there be any GitHub community Discussion category for git? I was pushed over to the LKML mailing list in order to report a bug which may have been only bad advice. There seems to be nowhere to learn git isn't git the main product of GitHub. Everything but the main product has thousands of pages... or ask a specific question not covered by basic tutorials
