Using the Copilot API in the C/C++ extension with the latest insiders versions of VS Code and the GitHub Copilot/Chat extensions, I'm not getting a breakpoint hit in the callback provided to the registerRelatedFilesProvider method, so I can't debug the code (i.e. the code isn't run, I'm pretty sure it's not an issue with the TypeScript debugger, but I could add console logging if you want me to rule that out): https://github.com/microsoft/vscode-cpptools/blob/main/Extension/src/LanguageServer/copilotProviders.ts#L39 .
Other members of our team say they're able to get the callback hit and our telemetry indicates that other users have the callback hit to, so we don't know why it's not getting called for me.
There are some errors in the Toggle Developer Tools->Console, but I don't know if they're the cause or not:
ERR [Extension Host] getTestableNode: Unexpected error Error: Unexpected type, expected 'must have seen identifier for symbol kind 'function' (lang: cpp)'
from vscode-insiders\extensions\github.copilot-chat-0.23.2024112002\dist\worker2.js:641:2521)
