I cannot seem to take my existing Project board:
https://github.com/orgs/Kareadita/projects/3/views/1

and create either a copy/template. I get this same error always:
There was a problem copying the project. The workflow "Item added to project (1)" exceeds the maximum of 1 workflows for its type

I figured out what is happening. After you create, even though you get an exception thrown, Github is still creating the template/project under the hood. If it did it initially, it did not close the modal or indicate that something was created.

Just revalidated and it does throw the exception again, yet a new project is created, but the project is the table layout and not the kanban board. Very frustrating experience trying to use these new projects.

I ended up manually creating a template which created 2 (an untitled and my named). When I created a project, only the unnammed project showed. Then I had to manually fix it up to what the named template.

This is an extremely frustrating experience. The old projects was very straightforward for people that need simple Kanban boards. While the new projects are more powerful, the bugs and UX in creating them (one for each release) makes you not want to use Github as an issue/project planning tool.
