This robust tool provides valuable insights into your GitHub Copilot usage, enabling you to monitor license assignments and track daily usage trends across your GitHub organizations. It supports various Copilot integrations, including code completion in the IDE, chat functionality within the IDE, interactions in the GitHub.com UI, and summarizing pull requests.

Where can I access the dashboard?

You can download the app from AppSource and install it in your preferred Power BI workspace. For configuration, please refer to the provided setup instructions.

Which GitHub Copilot versions are supported?

The app supports GitHub Copilot Business and GitHub Copilot Enterprise. For more details see the REST API endpoints for GitHub Copilot usage metrics.

I have Power BI Desktop installed on my laptop but do not have access to the Power BI online service.
Can you please suggest how to download this Power BI report to my local machine and open it in Power BI Desktop?

same here, it would be really helpful to have the PowerBI desktop version to be able to extract the data set collection part so that we can integrate it with other data we have about development tasks and source code contribution

If you deploy it to the Power BI online service, you will be able to download the PBIX from the File menu. I'm afraid you just have to first install the app to the online service.

Don't know if it's my PowerBI version but the pbix file cannot be downloaded anywhere.

Why don't you put in a github repo? Maybe being a binary file is not the best option but I've some collaborator working on dashboards that can contribute...

@ayodejiayodele After adding the app in the Power BI web, there is no option to download the .pbix file.

Note that due to other pending issue (https://github.com/orgs/community/discussions/145783) this exciting new tool it much less exciting, considering is stuck with data that are up to date until November 24th and no later than that...

The dashboard has some configurations including incremental refresh, which allows you to have up to 1-year usage trend of Copilot. 🚀 This feature is only compatible with Power BI Premium, Premium per user, Power BI Pro, and Power BI Embedded models.

Hi, I attempted to access my enterprise account, but I noticed that the naming conventions for my organization and enterprise differ.
For the enterprise, I have a space (e.g., Abcd Efgh), while for the organization, I use a hyphen (e.g., Abcd-Efgh). Unfortunately, I'm having trouble connecting via the API with my GitHub username, and the dashboard refresh is not occurring. Can someone please help me?
