When I opened a new text document before installing GH Copilot I was prompted to select a language, which is SUPER convenient. Now I'm instead prompted to ask Copilot something, and when I make a PowerShell document so I can import a huge JSON object into a PS object array list the language automatically changes to JSON instead of PowerShell (this is BEYOND highly undesirable behavior).
