Unprocessable entity in GitHub Classroom #17759

Hi. I have the same issue in my classroom that seems to have started within this week. I had previously tested the GitHub classroom assignment without problems. Instead, I have found that I could create a new classroom assignment with the same team and repository template codebase, and that link works for the students. I don’t understand why the one classroom assignment is broken, however, it is a sufficient workaround. (In fact, of the list of my assignments, only the one is ‘broken’ as above). The only thing that appears to be different is that the 'broken' assignment was the one that was used to configure the team properties, where as the other assignments (including the replacement) reuse the same team. |

This is a cross-post. I am posting here based on a recommendation from a staff member on the post in the GitHub Classroom section.
I have a team assignment that I assigned to my classes. I am teaching two sections of the course, so I have a classroom set up for each section. I created the assignment for my first section and I copied it to the other section. I made the settings identical.
Some time yesterday on May 4, 2022, one of my students said that when trying to accept the team assignment for her team that she got the following error:
422
Unprocessable entity
The change you wanted was rejected.

Today, the behavior seems to be different. One section of my course is apparently able to accept the assignments, but the other section still sees the error being displayed. There is a base repository used for the assignment that is a template repository and is owned by the organization, so I don't think there should be permission problems. There was one response to the original post indicating that someone else is having the same issue.
