All of my public GitHub repos register one clone count shortly after being initialized

Here are my steps:

1. Create empty, public repo on my GitHub account.
2. Set the origin of a local repo to point to the above repo.
3. Push the local repo onto the remote GitHub repo.

Shortly after these steps (about 1 hour late), I visit:

https://github.com/{user_name}/{repo_name}/graphs/traffic

to see how many clones I have.

The count will always display 1 clones.

My github account is not popular. These repos are merely toy repos that I am creating to see what would happen. In other words, nobody should know that these repos even exist, let a long clone them.

So the question is, why is this happening. Why are all of my public repos being cloned once shortly after being initialized?

Is there a bot doing this? If so why?
