How to change the currency for GitHub Sponsors

I contacted Stripe because my bank account is in US dollars and the sponsors contribution in US dollars are being converted to PEN (My local country currency). Stripe said that I must contact GitHub to change how the contributions are registered in Stripe, but my bank account registered in Stripe is in US dollars, so, there is a double conversion.

Please, I want all contributions to be registered in US dollars in my Stripe account.

I agree that there should be ability to change the currency for GitHub Sponsors because the sponsor payment is in USD. There needs to be spread awareness about this problem. Upvote this post if possible and put in Introduction of profile:
I want all contributions to be registered in US dollars in my Stripe account to increase the amount of money to me.

I wish I could contribute in the recipients currency.
It is going from Canadian dollars (me) to US dollars (github) to I don't know dollars (developer).

This is still a problem

I'm a developer in Malaysia, and I'd like to receive payments into my Wise USD account.

Stripe Express doesn't seem to offer the option to use a bank account in a different currency to receive payouts.

Double conversion should be avoided by allowing to select the more convenient currency.
