Github Contribution graph color change

I recently realized that the color of github contribution graph on my profile have changed to shades of yellow and orange. Just wondering if this is going to stay or is it just Halloween stuff.

I think I prefer this color theme in general, might be the high contrast. 😸

They've done it every year for a while now. It will go back after Halloween.

Oh, the irony! Here I was thinking GitHub turned my contribution graph into shades of yellow and orange to celebrate our festival of lights... 🪔

Turns out GitHub was just getting spooky with Halloween colors 🎃

Me looking at my profile:

"Wow GitHub, such cultural appreciation for Deepawali!"

GitHub: "BOO! 👻 Happy Halloween!"

At least both festivals have something in common - they light up our lives (and apparently, our contribution graphs too! 😂)
