Hi, we have a paid account and have created an 'Organization'.
We started creating repositories and made it Internal. Now, other departments in our organization also started creating repositories in the same 'Organization'.
Now, we don't want the other department teams to view/clone our repositories and vise versa.

Can someone guide me on how to restrict clones of few repositories by users within the same organization?

All enterprise members have read permissions to the internal repository, but internal repositories are not visible to people outside of the enterprise,
If you do not want all members to have resd access then internal repositories is not for you.

Your only option is to create private repositories, you could then create teams and add needed permissions on repository to a team and maintain memberships of a team that represents your departments.

Thank you for the quick response.

I created a private repository within the Organization. This 'Private' repository is visible to other users in the Organization, and they can clone my private repository.

I noticed that the 'Base Role' for my organization is 'Write'. Maybe changing the 'Base Role' or 'Base Permission' to revoke 'Read' and 'Write' will make it truly 'Private'.

You will need your orgnaiztion policy settings for repository base permissions to be none.
