I tried to sponsor GitHub contributor "oerdnj", however trying to pay by credit card failed, as I am in the EU and the legally required 2FA to pay by credit card has seemingly not implemented for GitHub.
Aside of me trying to find another way to send the money, annoyingly now I got a badge in my profile for sponsoring oerdnj ... with an amount of $0 :-/
Is there a way to get rid of that badge? I have seen that one can make sponsoring private, but this seems only to work if the sponsoring is active; if it failed there is no "manage" next to the amount currently sponsored ... because there is not such amount.
