Hello,
first of all thanks for the great work!
I am interested in understanding whether it is possible to filter for repository name instead of specifying the full_name user/reponame? It seems that some repositories have switched owners which causes problems using the above approach.
More precisely:
I would like to use the following query
https://api.github.com/search/commits?q=repo:ggplot2+author:hadley&order=asc&sort=committer-date
So far only this works:
https://api.github.com/search/commits?q=repo:ggplot2+author:hadley&order=asc&sort=committer-date
Which however does not give me the results for the time period before ggplot2 had a differently named owner.
To access the first commit the author "Hadley" has done to any repo which has been called ggplot2.
Any help will be much appreciated. Also very open for completely different approach as to solving the task. The main goal is to get the first commit to a package for a specific user.
