I really dislike the new For You page and how there is no instruction provided to turn it off. I can use the filters to clear the page, but the result is the same; a useless subpage (for me) which covers 75% of total page.
In my opinion, the content for Top Repositories and For You/following/other social media features should be switched; give Top Repositories a card-style view to include commit-trend and latest file changes for example, growth in Star's if you really need to implement social media like features.
When I log in, I would like to see the status of my projects and other things I am involved in, not what a random human across the globe is doing. Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and countless others are already doing that.
Please keep GitHub productive.
edit: grammar & and added some arguments instead of just moaning
