Page will jump roughly to top. Clicking pretty much anywhere below the fold in Safari will cause the page to jump to top.

Version: Safari 16.4
Resolution: 1280x800

Tested Firefox as well, where this does not occur.

For what it’s worth, I’ve been trying to bring attention to concrete accessibility issues in the new code view for some time, with no indication of success. I hope you have more luck with your efforts.

Yeah, very, very annoying trying to find a way to submit an issue report on GitHub itself.

@Zalathar do you happen to know if it's possible to disable the new code view? I don't see it in my settings anymore.

The only workaround I know of is to log out of GitHub (or use private browsing mode etc), which will cause the older code view to be used.

That’s obviously a huge hassle for public repositories, and impossible for private ones, unfortunately.
