If it's open source code that you're trying to compile then I actually recommend checking out this article here: Anyone can compile open source code in these three simple steps. Note that this particular site does require that you have some experience using the Terminal. If written resources isn't your thing (I do better watching videos myself) Udemy has a video you can reference as well: Compiling Software from Source Code. HI @MESCATRON , So as developer you should not include a .exe file in a Git repository for several reasons:
PD: As An Autistic Human, sometimes the repos or project create a website when they provide different kind of binarys for a simple install as .exe and .dmg (for osx) |

I just wish it was easier to get source code to run, for non programmers like me, I just want to click and run, not spend three days, trying to run a simple source code, which after long talks with an AI chatbot helping me out, I was still unable to get the program to run, HEY DEVELOPERS, PROVIDE A .EXE so that everyone can use the source code.
