Copilot to use private GitHub server with Visual Code and IntelliJ IDEA

My organization has GitHub Copilot license and it had setup few of us to do beta testing. I use Visual Code, and IntelliJ IDEA IDEs. My configuration for Visual Code:

• Visual Code version : 1.80.1
• Copilot plugin version : v1.96.255
• Under Settings -> "GitHub Enterprise" have provided my organisations GitHub server wwwin-github..com. Tried populating both under the sections "User" and "Workspace".
• Verified the same is reflecting or not in the Settings -> Extensions -> Copilot via JSON format, and it is reflecting properly.
• Now on the bottom left hand side of the vscode made sure GitHub account is signed off from any personal accounts.

Issue:
Now I choose the option to "Sign in with GitHub to use GitHub Copilot and it takes me to the public GitHub server rather than taking to my enterprise server

My configuration for IntelliJ IDEA:

• IDEA version : 2022.1.4
• Copilot plugin version : Due to the issue discussed in https://github.com/orgs/community/discussions/60836 I went with older Copilot version 1.2.9.2684
• Under Settings -> "Version Control" -> GitHub -> Added an entry for "Log In to GitHub Enterprise" and added my organisations GitHub server wwwin-github..com by providing the access token generated from the same server. It identifies my identity and populates the user name automatically by validating it

Issue:
Under Settings -> "Language & Frameworks" -> GitHub Copilot -> General, I choose GitHub Copilot account settings and it takes me to the public GitHub server rather than taking to my enterprise server

I searched this entire discussion forum with keyword "visual code enterprise account", "idea IntelliJ enterprise account", "private git repository", etc., and couldn't find a relevant forum. Can you please help us in getting further on how to overcome this by either configuring in the IDE properly or by enabling copilot plugin to take an argument of the Git server.

I am also experiencing the same issue and even set the github-enterprise.uri and github.copilot.advanced.authProvider to "github-enterprise" as well as what @baskarangappan had set.

VSCode version: 1.80.2
Copilot plugin: v1.99.289

I just "upgraded" to the pre-release version of github co-pilot v1.99.301 and as soon as I did it correctly asked if I wanted to connect to my github enterpise account.
