Problem

Recently I have started contributing to a new GitHub repository and this is the repository which I will be focusing the majority of my work for the next 2 weeks.

The repo cannot be found in the Top Repositories section unless I filter the list with the search and after a while of contributing to the repo I know it will appear there but until that point, every time I open up the GitHub homepage, I will have to manually filter that list.

Solution

It would be very useful if I had the ability pin repositories to the top of my GitHub homepage right above the Top Repositories section.

This would allow me to quickly browse the repositories I am actively contributing to or actively monitoring.

Even better would be if this feature could link to a List "Favorite Repositories" which would be one of the default Lists available when starring a repository
