We've got some electrifying news to share—brace yourselves for the grand reveal of our GitHub Awards 2023! 🌟 This is no ordinary announcement; it's a celebration of YOU and your incredible contributions to the developer community.

Wonderfully Welcoming Award

The Wonderfully Welcoming Award recognizes people or projects that have been the most welcoming and has seen an increasing amount of contributors. Congratulations to the Python Software Foundation!

Noteworthy Newcomer Award

The Noteworthy Newcomer Award recognizes people or projects that are creating and sharing breakthrough contributions/projects. Congratulations to LangChain!

Global Grandiose Award

The Global Grandiose Award recognizes projects that have a large global community of contributors. Congratulations to Storybook!

Hardware Hacker Award

The Hardware Hacker Award recognizes people or projects contributing to making hardware accessible through open specs/software. Congratulations to Limor "Ladyada" Fried (@LadyADA)!

Supply Chain Sentinel Award

The Supply Chain Sentinel Award recognizes a community member part of an advisory who has contributed to make the software supply chain more secure, by finding, disclosing, or fixing security vulnerabilities in open source projects or in supply chain tooling, or by providing information on known vulnerabilities to the ecosystem. Audience Choice Award

The Audience Choice Award recognizes a project that has been voted by developers as a project that has helped them create an impact. Check out the Winner here!

Star of the Year Award
