Generally this information about when and who closed it can be found in issues. In discussions it's not something that relevant and in the vast majority, it will have been the author himself who closed it and when it is gray, if you hover your mouse over it, you will know why it was closed. |

The information is technically present, but it isn't present where I expect to see it:
