Feature Request - Add twitter compatability as well?

Any chance I could convince the fine devs to add the feature of integrating (multiple) twitter accounts into one's personal feed? nothing fancy, just added to the timeline as appropriate with the reply and post features already present?

asking cus i might be down to assist / financially compensate for some of said development if agreed upon.

Hi there! This has actually been something we wanted to work on for quite a while, and it's one of the primary design goals for Starlight, our upcoming client for macOS, iOS, and iPadOS:

Codename Starlight is designed with the following goals in mind:

• Creating an experience for new and upcoming users wanting to try Mastodon for any reason, whether it be privacy or technology related or experiential;
• Providing flexibility with accounts by integrating with Twitter to ease onboarding and migration;
• Designing a great native app that scales across iOS, iPadOS, and macOS and shows what is capable with SwiftUI and Swift 5.5.

I believe that we've also been discussing this internally for Luna, since Luna will supersede Hyperspace Desktop. With the increase in fediverse users and migration from Twitter, this has become a primary aspect for us as we design these two projects going forward.
