looks like it doesn't compatible with a windows:

but I don't see a new kernel in a browser and no files in /home/yury/.local/share/jupyter/kernels/jbang-ijava/kernel.json (or home dir or anywhere on a disc, interesting why it's reporting success) - becase valid dir is C:\Users\yury.local\share... and /home/yury is a unix home path style.

Hmm. What version of Windows are You running and which terminal/shell ? Any wsl involved?

Bug should be easy to fix if i know that.

Windows 10, WSL installed but not used, Jupiter started under Windows with miniconda like that: https://noteable.io/jupyter-notebook/install-jupyter-notebook/#install-win
