A group of research scientists in China developed a robotic lab system, called an “A.I. chemist,” that could use machine learning models to find compounds from meteorite fragments that would make catalysts.
The catalyst in terms could speed up oxygen production via chemical reaction on Mars.
If such a system could be retrofitted to work reliably on Mars in a fully autonomous manner, Mars settlements would be furnished with enough oxygen quicker prior to the arrival of human colonists/settlers.
Also, less oxygen would be need to be transported to Mars.
Q: Anyone would like to highlight what workflow and aspect of this A.I. Chemist we could simulate in mars-sim ?
