How to downgrade to v8 using brew

I upgraded to version 9, but I found that svelte-preprocess is not compatible with v9. I am using brew to install pnpm. How can I downgrade to v8?

Your pnpm version is incompatible with "svelte-preprocess@5.1.3".

Expected version: ^8.0.0
Got: 9.0.1

This is how I downgraded to v8.15.7.

 curl https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/homebrew-core/3dadd1917286ac77beb3fb71457a0f37fd6e391b/Formula/p/pnpm.rb > pnpm-8.rb

brew install pnpm-8.rb

I got error below, any suggestions?

Error: No available formula with the name "pnpm-8". Did you mean pnpm?

Expected to find class Pnpm8, but only found: Pnpm.

You need to rm pnpm first.

brew uninstall pnpm

pnpm-8.rb rename for pnpm.rb, then brew install pnpm.rb work for me. Thanks for you help.
