Problem:
On hiring assets later than the estimated start date/time leaves the computer thinking an asset's position is partially unfilled, resulting in multiple allocations (that can appear as somewhat duplicates).
This can be best illustrated by the following example screenshot:
Solution:
A clickable option has been created to mark newly redundant partial positions as 'not required'.
This will prompt the user to delete the partial allocation:
Once deleted, this will keep all other asset position details in place:
Notes:
This function has been added only in the calendar, and not the 'Asset Allocation' table, as the delete action is permanent and can clear a lot of job data if done in bulk. This can be added with further feedback and additional use-case scenarios in the field if required.
