Are Electron and signInWithOAuth compatible?

I have already configured my github provider to log in from my electron application.
In my react component I have the following code:

  const signInWithGithub = async () => {
    await supabase.auth.signInWithOAuth({
      provider: 'github',
    });
  };

However, it does nothing.
I started to wonder if it was a problem when trying to run it from electron 🤔
What do you think, since I don't have an error in the console.
