Routes in Malta seem to belong to one single network, signed with white-on-blue rectangular shields. There appears to be some variation for routes 100 and above, with an inconsistently-applied black-on-yellow color scheme.
Currently, not all routes are mapped in relations, and those that are are tagged either network=arterial roads or network=distributal, with no country code prefix. These would need to be retagged according to a country-prefixed scheme before shields can be supported in Americana.
Routes seem to only be signed on the island of Malta. I can't find numbered routes on Gozo or any other islands.
