In most cases, "name=101" or "name=101동" are used in terms of the 'name' of apartment buildings. According to the wiki, if there are multiple sections of a single building, or if there are multiple buildings within a single complex, you can tag each area/building with an addr:unit tag [1]. On the other hand, the
addr:flats
tag is used to indicate multiple household numbers (e.g.,addr:flats=21-40
)[2]. In fact, the apartment dong/ho is closer to a part of the address system than the name, so why don't you use theaddr:
series tag to indicate it?Although there is no "동" on the wall of the apartment, the official name is "101동", so I think
addr:unit=101동
would be better thanaddr:unit=101
. In addition, theaddr:unit
tag can be used not only for dong, but also for the building's area name (section A, section B, etc.).[1] https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Key:addr:unit
