I'm trying to share folder by link with password access.
Using another browser I can access the folder correctly:

oc_1

By when I click the file link (doesn't matter if I click filename or download button)
I see following:
oc_2

But if I right click file and select Save file - it gets downloaded correctly.
Also I can right click and select Copy link and use it as direct link to get the file.

What browsers does this happen in?
Does any error show up in the javascript console or the owncloud.log file?

I've tried Safari 7/6 and Firefox 23 on OS X. Also customers report the same problem using Windows and Linux browsers.

Also some more details - I'm using owncloud from isv owncloud repository (RHEL 6)

If we take first snapshot and start Web Console in Firefox and click Download button following screen appears:

While working link to file is:
https://owncloud5.cpm.ru/public.php?service=files&t=12f5bcee4c4626343911b5e3b2aa719e&download&path=//TR-4107_FlexPodExpress_Implementation_Guide_with_VMware_vSphere_hd_JUN13.pdf

Hope this information is helpful.

Also upgraded to OC v5.0.11 from repository.
The problem still there.

Our 5.0.11 installation is affected, too.

Problem does not occur with Internet Explorer, but does with Mozilla Firefox.

I'd be available to test patches.

Can you retest with 5.0.13 and ownCloud 6 please?

Problem remains with 5.0.13.

From the screenshots it looks like this is only related to PDF files. There was an issue with the PDF viewer app that tried to load itself in public mode which is not supported.
That issue should be fixed now.

Please try again with 5.0.14 or OC 6.0.1.

Works for me in 5.0.14a and OC 6.0.1.
The PDF file is not displayed any more in public mode, as expected.
Please follow up with owncloud-archive/apps#187 for the feature "public mode PDF viewer"
