Describe the bug

The upload overlay breaks when uploading a folder that contains another folder, which contains files.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Create a folder on your local machine with the following structure: level1 > level2 > file.txt
  2. Make sure that "level1" only contains "level2" as folder, no hidden files or anything
  3. Upload "level1"

Expected behavior

The upload is successful and the overlay shows all the information.

Actual behavior

The upload overlay breaks and shows an endless loading state. The upload still succeeds, but the user doesn't get this info until they reload the page.
