Hi,

You write

You can star/unstar your files in case you have Starred plugin turned on.

I think its original idea has been regarded as working in tandem with Starred or (bookmarked) folders and files. However, there is no such named 'Starred' plugin.
Instead Obsidian has a core plugin Bookmarks. This allows one to set bookmarks either folders/files/headings/blocks from the file explorer (also the core plugin Files) and even to structure those bookmarks into groups.
Unfortunately, no plugin automatically marks these bookmarks on the file explorer (at least there is one https://github.com/javalent/prominent-files but it does not work fully or not at all list the bookmarks under structured groups.)
I'm using the File Color plugin to add a custom color in explorer when I'm creating a bookmark, as a possible simple resolution

However, it would be very useful to see with a mark (also) in your alternative file explorer both in the Folder Pane and List Pane the already bookmarked starred both folders and files and even working with tandem Bookmarks core plugin (adding/removing) form your explorer. If this latter is a bit complicated only can be enough to mark seeing the already bookmarked files and folders in your explorer.

Thank you for considering.
