A few days ago @arijeetsat started a hackathons channel on slack and has been working pretty hard posting links to keep the channel active.

I would like to propose this project idea that can help us out in the hackathons channel. The idea is just to crawl a few websites like hacker earth and what not and post the links of upcoming hackathons to the channel.

Optional:
To make it more fun maybe someone can try to implement it in an obscure language like I don't know clojure or haskell probably.

An advanced version of this is https://wolfbeacon.org/

But we don't need this its just to give you an idea.

WolfBeacon
WolfBeacon is a mobile-first platform to systemize the organization of and participation in hackathons.

We can do this with other channels too. Competitive coding has been inactive for a while and might need this. I will open an issue for it later
