In the spirit of competitive programming (CP), we propose a new type of competition specifically for developers.
This event will focus on building the most scalable, sound, and resilient systems.

Objective

Participants will compete to design and implement systems that demonstrate exceptional scalability, robustness, and resilience. The goal is to create solutions that can handle high loads, recover gracefully from failures, and maintain high performance under stress.

Phases

  • Common Topic: All participants will work on a predefined topics. This ensures a level playing field and direct comparability of solutions.

  • Development Phase: Participants will have a set period to design, develop, and test their systems. They will be required to use best practices in software architecture, error handling, and performance optimization.

  • Testing: Participants will subject their systems to rigorous testing, including load tests, failure simulations, and stress tests.

  • Presentation: Each team will present their system, demonstrating its features, design choices, and how it meets the competition's criteria.

We can also keep a cute little name of this ,like DRC: developers resiliency cup
