Not able to adjust fee when ether balance is low and default gas price is high

I'm running:

• Parity client version: 1.11.8
• Parity UI version: 0.3.5
• Operating system: Linux
• Installed via: snap
• Fully synchronized: yes
• Network: ethereum
• I tried to restart both Parity UI and Parity Ethereum client: yes

When trying to send an asset from an account with a low ether balance the UI disables "Send" button with message "the transaction total is higher than the available balance" when the box "advanced sending options" is checked. The behavior is as expected when the "advanced sending options" box is not checked, since there is not enough ether to pay the fee with default gas price. However, with the advanced options one can change the gas price and lower the total fee. Expected behavior is that the warning appears in the dialog where gas price is adjusted instead.
