Somewhat related to #7019 but more than a cli flag to have logs as new line delimited JSON it would be nice to have more control of the logger and add custom filters/formatters and what not.
Logging is usually very "personal" isn't it? instead of being told I can only wear green or red pants I'd like to be able to go out with blue shorts or nothing at all :P

I think I need this too. Wanted to change logs to print time in UTC instead of local timezone, which is different on every machine, but can't find a way to configure it 😕
