User Story:

As a user of the Passport identity staking app,
I want to be aware of the availability of Layer 2 networks and have a clear understanding of how to choose a network for staking,
So that I can easily stake my identity on multiple networks like Ethereum, Optimism, and Arbitrum.

Acceptance Criteria

GIVEN I am on the Identity Staking page,
WHEN I load the page,
THEN I should see a banner at the top highlighting the availability of staking on multiple networks (Ethereum, Optimism, Arbitrum) and a short description under the "Choose a network" dropdown explaining that I can select the desired network for staking.

Product & Design Links:

Figma Design

Tech Details:

  • Add a banner at the top of the Identity Staking page with the text: "Now you can stake your identity on multiple networks: Ethereum, Optimism, and Arbitrum."
  • Under the "Choose a network" dropdown, add a description: "Choose a network above to stake your identity."

Open Questions:

  • Should the banner be dismissible by the user?
  • Is there a need for a tooltip or additional help text to explain the staking process on each network?

Notes/Assumptions:

  • The banner will appear only once per session.
  • The design will follow the existing style and theme of the Passport app.
  • The feature should be responsive and work seamlessly on both desktop and mobile devices.
