Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) Examples

This directory includes SNMPv3 examples for polling and trap operations. It includes a pair of users and groups, one providing read-only (RO) access, and one providing read-write (RW) access. Both use the authPriv model which is most secure. The ACLs provide additional security to determine which SNMP servers (pollers) can utilize which users. I enable basic linkup and linkdown traps, sending them to an SNMP trap listener. Last, the template includes other SNMP informational fields that are commonly specified.
