I'm not Ubuntu expert, but it looks somewhat similar to what you can encounter under Windows too. I mean it looks like Ubuntu firewall asked you whether you agree on the SQLiteStudio app to reach out to the internet (to check updates), or not. Since you did not acknowledge it, it defaulted to "no" and it is this way till now. I'm not 100% sure that this is the reason, just guessing. This is something you need to find out rather on Ubuntu forums (perhaps askubuntu.com?). |

Hello pawelsalawa,
I have just downloaded app and opened it. Just when I opened it another small window appeared asking me for something. I didn't read it and just closed the app competely. Now every time I open app it shows me Status 'Could not check for updates (SSL handshake failed)'. I thought if I remove the app downloaded folder and redownload it it will disappears but the same status message still appears after opening the app. Please advise how to get rid of it so I don't see it everytime I open the app. Thank you.
Operating system
Ubuntu 22.04
SQLiteStudio version
3.3.3
