Now it is shown, but the text is cut. This happens also on FF, see e.g. Portuguese

Unsure showing "Languages" for all languages, instead of the name of the language in use is a good idea.

Thinking about that, I'm confident having a different style for lang switch than for regular menus, and avoiding "Languages", seems more standard, and appropriate.

On small screens the language switcher goes in the same "dropdown" where the horizontal menu links are placed. This is not the expected behavior?

Chrome/Android: the translate drop-down is in the hamburger menu, but you have to drag to reveal it. Is that what others see?

In fact, it's even briefly visible, and then the menu truncates to hide it. Do others see this?
