https://github.com/penumbra-zone/penumbra/runs/4075426911?check_suite_focus=true failed because crates use the 2021 edition, which was stabilized in Rust 1.56, but we pinned Rust 1.55 in order to avoid an ICE when running Rustdoc (reported rust-lang/rust#84738 , marked as dup of rust-lang/rust#84738 )

I tested again in ab18a09 optimistically and it seems like whatever was happening to trigger the bug is no longer happening, so we can roll back to stable and move on.
