Sorry, non an issue but cannot find any way to contact the maintainer. I wonder if protocoin is suitable to build a altcoin just for experimentation purposes, example adding new features like key/value storing in transaction or other stuff not part of Bitcoin protocol. Thank you.

@dadaista Protocoin is just the network client for a full blockchain node. You would have to write the ledger db portion to store and answer the client server network calls using Protocoin. I believe someone did implement a full bitcoin node using protocoin so it has been done (or close to done).
