I have noticed on the latest version of vimium there is a helper text when finding a link "Open link in new tab".

The problem with this helper text is the link letters are covered "under" the helper text so you cannot see what keyboard shortcut to choose for any links that are in the bottom right of the screen.

A workaround is that while link hints mode is activating, you can still scroll page to reveal the links covered by HUD as HUD is fixed position but link hints are not, using arrow keys, PgUp and PgDn or... mouse wheel.

@innaterebel - Thanks. This doesn't work however on sites like soundcloud because the media options are on a fixed frame at the bottom of the page so scrolling won't get arround the issue.

Hello there.
I have the same similar issue. I work in ServiceNow and the template bar is exactly on the bottom of the screen and is on a fixed position.
Is there a way to change this by any chance?

@TobiasArtur #3499 will solve that HUD now prevents some lints from being hinted. And then you can add a .vimiumHUDFrame.vimiumNonClickable { opacity: 0.7; } to the advanced option of "CSS for Vimium UI" on Vimium Options page.
