Assuming they have fediverse sharing turned on, are accounts on Threads fair game, given that you can follow them from elsewhere? This covers things like the White House, as Threads is a little more friendly to that sort of thing regardless of my thoughts on whether the US government should have its own Fediverse instance (they should).
