Docker tags on one particular Docker image have only a single Which all go into The With using multiple Bare in mind that migrating to the latest stable PHP version is best done within a particular PHP branch a - therefore those prefixes Do you have any better system in mind here? |
Maybe not better but it would be nice to able to just swtich the core php library (https://hub.docker.com/_/php/) with your image adding the What you suggesting is interesting, but images can have multiple tags, so I would work with that instead multiple repositories. You can for example add the What I would do if I wanted to split it to multiple repositories that keep the main repo and add the subrepositories as modules. |
So using the lattest is very convenient and I would like to not specify the php version for apache, nginx, litespeed and cgi versions so I could roll my applications with the stable php version. If something goes wrong with and upgrade the tests will fail, so we could upgrade the necessary parts whenever it's needed to keep the code up to date.
