having the same issue, is an old bug that is poking its head around the corner again.

@S-Riches I just run peek with the following command: peek -b ffmpeg =) And everything works fine!

I also had issues with Peek not recording the whole gif, but only the first 2,3 seconds.
But running peek -b ffmpeg fixes the issue.

How can we set Peek to use ffmpeg by default ?

can now confirm that its an issue with ffmpeg and my computer due to ffmpeg breaking disney+ lol

I also had issues with Peek not recording the whole gif, but only the first 2,3 seconds.

That's funny. Mine recorded the first frame, then 600ish completely empty combine frames, then a single combine frame that had significant alterations, then another 200ish completely empty combine frames.

mp4 it fails on saving
apng it fails on starting
webm it fails on starting

And now (after having checked the alternatives) even gif fails to start.
